About

Inodoro™ is the creative moniker of graphic designer and art director PJ Ong; a renowned figure in the Philippine design scene. Founded in 2003, this independent studio based in Cebu, Philippines has since built an international reputation for bold and distinctive design, with a penchant for thought-driven imagery, and a keen sense for creating striking and iconic visual language.

The studio specializes in identities, custom typography, graphic design and art direction, with design principles rooted in a careful and creative balance between experimentation and commercial sensibility. Inodoro™'s ability to channel abstract thinking into producing a cohesive and strategic visual approach reflects a “disciplined dynamism” that is unique to the studio's craft.

Working mainly in music, fashion, architecture, culture and technology, Inodoro™ has propelled itself onto the regional and global stages, having worked on special collaborations for Uniqlo, Zachery Allan Starkey and Bernard Sumner (New Order, Joy Division), MeCA Tokyo, WSK Festival, BRAIN ブレーン Magazine and Aston Martin, among others. The studio has also exhibited works in Somerset House (UK) and the ultra-prestigious Ars Electronica (Linz, Austria), as well as other international powerhouse locations.

Inspired by the emergence of underground music subcultures over the years, and current technological advancements in art and design, Inodoro™ is constantly in search of new and unchartered territories in visual communication.
