The God Uterus Dissolves by White Widow follows them into a more mature direction sonically and narratively. The overall visuals explored contrasted themes of getting lost and feeling trapped, whilst drawing on intangible references that blur the lines between (1) beauty, (2) temptation, (3) fear, (4) despair and (5) harsh reality. These cues are then translated into customised symbols that represent each of the 5 tracks, bringing their dark and abrasive nature into a contemporary light that defined a distinctive visual language for the cassette packaging.
The cassette is then encased with a painstakingly customised wire mesh to complete the whole story.
In 2023, marking another milestone, this work was recently added to the permanent collection of the Museum of Avante-garde in Switzerland.

Timeless typefaces meet modern symbolism in a branding approach that merges the traditional with the contemporary.
While the company is rooted in time-honoured practices, family values and business ethics, this modern classic logo is also an indication that Eight RJA Distribution is able to move forward, remain relevant and adapt to today’s ever-changing needs.
The icon itself (a creative illustration of R-J-A ) is oriented in a horizontal manner, representing not just the flow of a distribution channel, but a sequence that is suggestive of movement --- using solid and firm shapes that convey stability, strength, and structure.

As a forward-thinking studio that seeks to respond to the fast-changing demands of society and the environment, 22AD Architecture & Design Studio banners Sustainable Aesthetic Efficiency.
In essence, it entails the use of flexible design solutions; one that seamlessly interweaves sustainability, aesthetics, and efficiency.
Inspired by a resemblance to architectural structures, their foundations and building blocks, the branding invokes a clean, modern classic aesthetic that makes a subtle nod to basic lines and shapes, but moderately pushes the bounds of traditional design — a blend that uniquely embodies 22AD.

New Order collaborator ZACHERY ALLAN STARKEY (ZAS) spawns a gritty, uncompromising series of singles reminiscent of New York in the 1970s. Aptly titled FEAR CITY, a reference associated with NYC during its gangland warfare days, the full-length LP features several tracks, including FORCE and FEAR CITY in collaboration with Bernard Sumner of legendary New Order and Joy Division.
To give a current feel to the digital track covers, a bold and imposing typeface was used, creating a fitting juxtaposition to the album inspiration, and demonstrating a firm nod to contemporary New York.

With the goal of highlighting the 10-year milestone of WSK: Festival of the Recently Possible, the Philippines’ first and longest-running music, arts and technology festival, the event posters were created using a bold, flexible, and creative solution: “X” as the central element. X, the Roman numeral for 10, is depicted dynamically, with static and fragmented treatments, illustrating the festival’s multi-faceted and ever-evolving nature. The main element, which occupies 80-90% of each artwork, is meant to draw attention to the decade-long celebration, through a depiction that is catchy, intriguing and significant.
X, in its fragmented form, is captured from a self-developed coding script, and is a direct visualisation of the festival’s main title, “WSK” (the disemvoweled version of the Filipino word “wasak”, which means “shattered” or “broken” when translated).

Branding and packaging design for Abu-Dhabi based coffee/ distribution company, Quattro Essenzo. Inodoro™ was approached with the task to create clear differentiation for the brand, in an effort to stand out in an otherwise homogenous, traditional marketplace. Taking inspiration from the word “Essenzo”, which translates to “Essence” in English, Inodoro™ developed an ultra-minimal yet bold aesthetic by applying rich color tones on silver bags — with gradients gradually decreasing in saturation from bottom to top, as a contemporary way to illustrate “the spirit of coffee.” This packaging system is inspired by and rooted in the company personality; simple yet striking, representing a premium brand that is meant to stand out, challenging the norm of typical coffee packing, by using carefully-crafted color transition as the main element to unite and distinguish. The color selection for each coffee variety was inspired by the flags of the countries where they were sourced.

Inodoro™ worked closely with the company to develop a brand strategy, and visual identity that presents MeCA as both an innovative festival and an ambitious thought leader, creating a brand that strikes a balance between art, music and innovation, putting people at the centre of technology. To accompany the logo, a play on patterns and shapes was developed to create infinite patterns that illustrate ever evolving meanings and challenging the norms and future of art, music and technology. A flexible visual system was also applied across all touch points such as poster, postcards, banners, shirts, wall facade, book and more.
The music program included performances by the legendary Morton Subotnick, Atari Teenage Riot’s Alec Empire, Young Juvenile Youth, similarobjects, as well as an art exhibition by Oscar and Grammy award winner Ryuichi Sakamoto, Shiro Takatani, Tad Ermitaño, Studio The Future, and more. Public talks and programs were put together featuring biotechnology-art crossover pioneers Joe Davies and Ionat Zurr, to name a few. The event also highlighted a pop-up shop to showcase cutting edge recycling technology, with graphic tees on display, designed by selected artists in the field.

Identity for Philippines’ biggest international festival for new media and digital arts. This year (the biggest yet), in partnership with Japan Foundation Asia Center (Tokyo), I was honoured to be commissioned to execute the entire branding under the theme ‘AXIS’. The event was held in various locations within Manila, and was participated in by both local and international new media practitioners.
Inodoro™ deviced an engaging, expansive visual system (typographic and coded design) based on the concepts of The Axis of Symmetry and The Axis of Asymmetry.
The goal was to produce a novel and intriguing brand identity that captured the essence of the AXIS, reflected across all media platforms and merchandise, including a new logo, social media elements, posters, signages, event brochure, button pins, stickers, staff IDs, t-shirts and tote bags.
The typographic treatment was borne out of inspiration from coded language, which is the heart and soul of new media. A lot of word play and custom content came into the picture, in an effort to capture a newer and broader spectrum of audiences towards a movement that is relatively still limited in its exposure, growth, and appreciation in the country.

Extended Play presents: MASSIVE ATTACK - 100th WINDOW (Special Edition)
This is one custom album packaging of a 4-series piece entitled Extended Play, which is intended as a personal project by !nodoro™. It is a tribute to some of my favorite musicians/artists around the globe - a collection of new interpretations, perspectives and formats to their classic covers; hence the word “play".
It is by all means an experimentation without boundaries to the concept. Music and Art are two things that complement each other enormously; they go hand-in-hand and in my opinion, are of absolute equal importance. Thus, I consider an album cover highly reflective of the record, or a critical introduction to it. It is the passage into the music.
Extended Play also serves as a way of sending out the idea to every graphic designer/musician to play a big part in coming out with the best interpretation of music through a rich visual experience using the best material, method and execution possible. Simple or unconventional. Pronounced or obscure. Independent or commercial. As both crafts are related, the idea of co-existing in creativity makes perfect sense - we give importance to the music and to the musicians who provide them just as they provide the necessary inspiration and direction for us designers. As a final thought, one could only hope that despite this digital age, every music fan will continue collecting physical records like owning an actual fine art piece in your hands and truly say "Print. Still. Matters."
Concept: Massive Attack is perhaps one of the most innovative/progressive musicians around without question. The idea for the album packaging is to decipher the random actual lyrics found on the cover and back and slip unto using the acrylic plastic case to see the main titles and track lists. It allows depth and interaction at the same time.

It was one of our concepts relayed in the process that we had to customized each typeface from scratch.
The aim was to produce different types of graphics to their specific market having the freedom to choose their own letter. Thus, the tagline "What's Your Letter?" Be that it stands for their own name or they simply like the graphics.

Noise rock group Bombo Pluto Ova commissioned !nodoro to design their third album entitled Phantom.
We came up with the concept of a sound sculpture capturing the essence of venom-like forms or dark abstractions. In order to produce the outcome, we wanted to synchronized the image with it's corresponding track and determine the reactions - more like an "abstract painting equalizer." The process was so tedious that we ran vast amounts of trials and errors just to get the right forms.
The finished product was digitally printed in photo paper on a standard transparent jewel case.
